I love these lamps and for the price you can't beat them. The neck looks well made and holds the position very well. It's easy to move without feeling like you're struggling with the mechanics of the neck itself. Update: After about 6 months the soft white light went out on one of the lights but 3 of the 4 I bought are still working great. The only suggested improvement would be an internal switch to set the color temperature instead of having to switch between them every time you turn on the light. In my opinion, this is something you really only want to install once. I also had to use my grinder to shave off some of the metal with a cutting wheel to pull out the cord and attach it directly to my headboard without wires. from the bottom of the bracket. I would suggest they just make a half circle on the edge of the metal and place the grommet over the wire. So if you want to run them outside of the bracket you can, or you can just run them right through the hole you drilled. the back of the attachment point (looping is not required to loosen the wire).
