My head circumference is 22 inches which was technically average in an upgraded (more expensive) adult style balaclava, it was way too big and sadly didn't fit well. My first experience with this item was a transplant from Hawaii to Michigan, so trust me when I tell you I don't like those harsh winters. It has been found that this child size fits me well and covers my ears and neck well. Bonus in these Covid days, this is absolutely useful as a handy 'mask' if you need to get into a public space... I am very happy with this purchase as I continue my daily 5 mile hooray walks can and intend to capture more flowers. 2 for $20 what a deal!
