Review on πŸš— Double Door SUV Crate with Plastic Pan for Midwest Region by Erica Jackson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Passed the test of time.

I bought this box almost 5 years ago. He has fulfilled his function very well. I have a Rottweiler and she ripped open the cage I kept her in for Thanksgiving 2011. She's a handful and can get out of almost any cage. So I usually attach clips around the perimeter and use a leash attached to the door to make sure it stays inside. She just pushed the old box against the door until it gave in the middle. This box was strong enough to hold her in at shows, coursing and diving at the dock where her back was open all the time. It fits very well in my Astro Van. Both doors work perfectly, but there are 3 clips on the back door (they can open the latches). I also miss the days when pots were made of metal. Plastic pans do not fit in every size box. (I have small terriers, a medium sized dog and Rotts). I know that sometimes to get one of those old skillets you can find an old box for sale at a flea market. That being said, you can order replacement plastic pots for around $35. These boxes are heavier and better built than the ones you can buy at Walmart or any other store.

Pros
  • The replacement pan is injection molded and is stronger and more durable than the vacuum sealed pan.
Cons
  • Nothing here
