I use the same hummingbird feeder (narrow waisted bottle with narrow threaded hole (probably Perky Pet brand) YEARS I have also used the same sponge cleaner for YEARS; with a little pressure it slid easily into the narrow opening and the wand allowed me to reach almost every surface in the bottle. I was devastated when the foam strip finally stopped working but quickly ordered another one as it was late was in season and couldn't find it in stores. On this one, however, the foam strips were more like a dry spongy material, not a soft foam, but the top of the sponge came off on first use. Although it was cheap, it was still a waste of my money, but above all a waste of my time.The hassle of a return not worth it BUT I can spend a few inut to warn someone else. If you have a wider opening this might be a good product ie.
