It's hard to find a 500 watt heater with a thermostat.

This is exactly what I needed. Instead of a single 1500 watt heater, I wanted multiple 500 watt heaters to spread the heat more evenly around the room. This little device is perfect for this purpose. You can use three of these in a circuit without fear of tripping the switch.
