A ton of wasted packaging

Ok, I am not what anyone would call a tree hugger. I have to ask why a pair of nail clippers needs to come in a fake velour bag inside of a metal tube inside of a cardboard box? Plus they include some sort of magnetized piece of metal with no indication of what it does. The price of the item was right, the product works as described but c'mon folks reduce the packaging
