I really thought it was round but it turned out to be as flat as can be. Heated up with a hair dryer, in the sun, moistened with warm and hot water, nothing makes the thing round again. The photos are taken after we tried unsuccessfully to fluff it up into a curve. The upper part is rather bare and lacks very stiff bristles. The stiff bristles are great for winding lanes, but their flat shape makes them a bit awkward to use. Generally not satisfied. I would just send it back but my wife has already used it. I think I'll just buy another one from a different manufacturer, I like to buy the same thing twice.
