The more than fair price for this kit was attractive, but as with most things, you get what you pay for. I can't fault the seller but the manufacturer definitely lacks quality control. Luckily I'm a professional mechanic who knows better how to check all parts of spare parts so I don't have to do this job twice. One of the tensioners in this kit was missing the oil supply hole that lubricates the timing chain as it passes over the tensioner. That little detail would have cost me another $3,000-$5,000 over the weeks that this customer's car had to be towed for an engine swap due to bent valves and clogged oil galleys. Other parts looked ok quality and I want to reiterate that this is not the seller's fault. This small defect added another 3 days to complete this job as I had to order a separate tensioner from my local Nissan dealer as I didn't have time to wait another 10 days for another set to arrive. I will not order from this seller again due to the very slow shipping.
