Pressing the middle button toggles between: Brightness Hue Contrast Saturation Zoom (2 settings) Language Reset (to factory defaults) The top and bottom buttons are used to increase or decrease the selected function. What they DO NOT do is allow you to remove grid lines or turn off the device. The grid lines are attached to the screen, not the camera, since rotating the camera does not change the display of the grid. For the $22 I spent this was a reasonable proof of concept as I will be using it as a rearview mirror on the Sliced. 32 3-window coupe with a small rear window and large blind spots. The picture is normal, but certainly not high definition. Since I won't be taking portraits of people behind me, that's not a problem.
