This comb is amazing. I have thick, fine hair that tangles like hell and have struggled for decades to find a brush or comb that doesn't tear my hair. When I had waist-length hair, I would easily spend two hours a day detangling and pulling it out. It was very uncomfortable, and that's why I cut my hair a lot. Last year a friend gave me the idea of handcrafted combs that lack the sharp edges of the prongs left over from the presses traditionally used to make regular combs (it's the same kind of edge that clothes hangers can have - Oops!) . He uses his for hair and beard, a hard plastic object. Being crunchy, I wanted to find a more eco-friendly alternative that I could use for a long time. This comb is near perfect. I'm letting my hair grow out because I'm so confident in the power of this comb! Even at the length of my ears, my hair is already getting tangled and this comb does a great job of detangling. There's no tension and the pointed end makes for a great parting. It's comfortable to hold and handle, smells slightly woody, and has put quite a few rides in dirty pockets without breaking teeth. I highly recommend this comb.
