Review on Talisman Designs Bacon Bin Grease Strainer and Storage - 1 Cup Capacity, Red by Kristin Lee

I really like this, but it would be much better if it was a little bigger and thicker. It doesn't fully hold the fat from a pound of bacon and is just too hot to pick up with your hands after hot fat has been poured in (before it cools). The base model should hold fat from 1.25 pounds of bacon and insulate heat so you can move the container right after pouring hot fat/tallow. Otherwise I would definitely buy again. Lid and filter are great. Once the grease/fat has cooled it should soon be reused or thrown in the trash. I do not recommend long term storage in this container as even a few weeks of storage resulted in a somewhat noticeable odor after being emptied and washed.
