I bought a double pack of Pulaco pumps for a do it yourself cat fountain in November 2019. The fountain is equipped with a motion sensor so that the pump is only switched on intermittently. For inexplicable reasons, pumps sometimes lose suction power even when the engine is running. The pipe and the connected copper pipe are not clogged, and the motor is clearly not clogged with anything. This happened to both pumps. It's impossible to simply disassemble the pump to inspect its interior, but fiddling with the flow rate switch and toggling the power magically restored its functionality. I'm at a loss as to how to fix this permanently.
