After creating a new desktop, I encountered an internet connection conundrum on my newly built computer. The biggest hurdle is that the computer is completely on the opposite side of the 2,000 square foot house with three walls in between. So after some research and reading reviews I decided to try this Panda Wireless USB Adapter and boy was impressed. The adapter gave me a perfect signal with no dropouts or disconnects and took full advantage of my high-speed internet connection. Also, at less than $10, the item was totally affordable and luckily saved me a lot more money compared to some of Panda's competitors. This item is also plug and play, so you don't need to install drivers to use it. I have several complaints about the design of the psychic item layout. On my computer with the antenna up, it had to be pointing either down or straight out. If I were to use the rear USB slots I would either have the computer case close to the wall or get a weaker signal with the antenna pointing down. I was able to fix this by using the USB slots on the front of my computer which were oriented differently than the ones on the back of my computer, it was reversed, the only two corners were the antenna facing up or out. It can only be the design of my motherboard and not the adapter block. However, would it be really difficult to make this item so that the antenna can be positioned at all three angles? Second, the item itself doesn't look like it will stand the test of time if treated frequently (i.e., psychically). Obviously, if you're like me and probably never need to move it, then it's no big deal. However, if you're the kind of person who needs to carry it around with you everywhere for a portable WiFi adapter, then the durability of this item should be considered. Pros: Extremely Affordable Gets the job done in the most demanding environments. Environment Plug and play, no need to run software or disk to use it. Cons: Durability can be an issue. The angle of inclination of the antenna is limited. qualitative. If you're looking for a wireless adapter option, you can't go wrong with this article.
