1. The Internet or wireless network connections may become temporarily unavailable for a few seconds at random intervals. Rare, but not to anyone's liking. 2. Although the router does not always make an accurate determination of the type of connection, this is something that may be changed manually. 3. Despite the fact that there are two antennas for each band, the signal strength for the 2.4 GHz band is even somewhat lower than it was with my previous router, which only had one antenna and one band. 4. The administrative panel does not allow the configuration of numerous users for permission purposes. You are unable to permit simultaneous authentication from several devices. You can block access to the device from which the blocking happens, for instance. After doing so, it will be unable to go into the settings until the authority to do so is obtained or until the router is restarted (which cannot be done remotely). The SMB server can only operate on the outdated protocol, making it open to attack from potentially harmful viruses. Tech support has nevertheless stated that they are working on implementing compatibility for newer versions of SMB.
