I purchased this to "wrap" around a safari-theme cart kind of thing I built for a church event. Think "tiki bar", but not a bar. ;0). It worked great. I used a staple gun to attach the bamboo fencing to the cart. You could use zip ties to attach the bamboo fence to a wire fence. I used needle nose pliers to clip the excess fencing for my project. I think this would be a good product to use on an apartment balcony to provide privacy. It looks like it would be weather proof for a year or two when exposed to the elements. It is a dusty product, so be sure to assemble outdoors, or be ready to vacuum after your project.
