Net looks good. I was probably expecting a thicker net. Haven't used it yet so can't tell if it works or not, but it looks a little thinner than I expected. The net arrived very tangled. I hope this gets cleared up once I've unraveled and used it, but at the moment it's not an easy system to use. I'm not sure if another mesh would be better, but if the tangles don't improve after use, I suspect I will stop using mesh. It's a little frustrating. The hooks are made of large plastic. They look solid and won't ruin the truck's finish and feel more than strong enough to hold the load in place. I purchased this item with the Rola trunk but the hooks are too thin to fit through the bars. There is no good way to attach this net to my carrier. I think this net holds gear well and keeps medium sized items from falling out, but I would also use a ratchet strap to keep the load from shifting. In short, if you have a flimsy rail system on your carrier and a light load, you can handle it. It doesn't work for me so I'm sending it back.
