Where I live we get very bad water stains on our toilets. I tried many cleaning products but nothing worked. My husband came up with the idea of using really fine grade wet sandpaper and it works but is messy and rough to use. I read about them and people told me about them, so I decided to try them. I wasn't very impressed. The main dirt was removed but some stains remained. In addition, they dissolve very quickly. I have used one of these on two toilets and have gone through at least half the stone but there are still stains on the toilet.
