I was surprised that the key fob cover came in a nice metal case (but no inner seal). There was no particular need for this. The case is almost like a phone case, rubberized inside and a hard shell on the outside that snaps into place. Has a remote start button. I had no problem reducing reception with the key in the fob. Fits great except for the new logo as you can see in the picture. It doesn't fit at all, but I don't care. The trailer is protected. What I also noticed is that the key fob is a bit wider and thicker as a result. I added this strap which works great: UTF8&psc=1
