Review on 🚲 Arkon Bike and Motorcycle Handlebar Smartphone Mount - Water Resistant Holder for Apple iPhone 6, iPhone 5S, 5C, 5, and 4S by Michael Baker

Bought the case after reading positive reviews. This product is very well made. Processing, seams, zippers, everything in order. The only downside is that it's very bulky and protrudes about an inch and a half out of the handlebar adapter through the ball joint. It doesn't fit my drop handlebars on my Jamis Ventura. If you want to use this on a motorcycle with handlebars, that's fine. Forget it when you ride a triple sport bike. May also be suitable for mountain bikes or hybrids with wider handlebars. I decided to mount it vertically to the seatpost under my seat. The horizontal position forces you to hit it with the back of your thigh as you kick. Good product but be careful when using it with a road bike. My only goal was to use it with Endomondo. It does the job but looks odd and can be awkwardly pulled out from under the seat. -- 08/16/2011 -- Update: The screw that attaches the housing to the ball joint vibrated. went out and was lost. I drove without a propeller, thinking that my path would not take me to roads with a lot of turbulence. I made a mistake and the phone/case fell off the back of the bike. TWICE. It was my fault for using it without a screw but I needed my endomondo. Although I have to say the case did its job. I hated testing it this way, but it worked. Just don't lose that little gold/copper screw.
