I contacted the seller support and they promptly responded and are sending a replacement.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Pros:-Camera and light make it pretty easy to see into the ear canal-Variety of tools that screw into the handle help get into tough areas-Affordable-Really does what it claims to do- helps visually target blockages and get them outCons:- Must be VERY careful- at least with the first few uses of this tool to avoid hitting or scraping the eardrum- No tweezer or suction tool/capabilityIdeas:This cleared a major blockage that had been creating itchiness in my left ear for some time. I tried swabs, Debrox, ear drops and had limited success. After about five minutes getting used to this tool, and visually coordinating the placement of the tool with the camera, I had found and cleared out the blockage.Some ear wax is important for your ear to protect it from infection or exterior particles. It's kinda gross, but you can tell the "bad wax" pretty easily. The old wax was extremely deep in the ear in my case and a dark brown color. The light on the tool makes it easy to spot.I find the small scoop to be the easiest tool to use as it provides more room to work deeper in the ear canal.Helpful tip- if you pulling "up" on the top of your ear with your other hand while using this scoop/camera- it will straighten the ear canal and greatly improve visibility and access to and from your ear canal.Swabs are still the easier method for cleaning the outer ear. For everything else this is the tool!Post Cleaning Experience:I had no idea how much things were impaired. It may be partially psychological, but since cleaning out my ear: balance has improved, itchiness is mostly gone, tinnitus reduced, head feels more open and airy (less stuffy if that makes sense).Recommended!
