My fridge is electronic. We have frequent power cuts here and sometimes when the power comes back after a brief interruption it is often momentarily unstable with a scary flickering. I like the idea of this voltage stabilizer. If the input voltage becomes too low or too high, it will shut down and prevent power from flowing back to the refrigerator for 3 hours after the mains power is restored. It seems to me that this is enough for the voltage to stabilize and the compressor not try to restart while still under pressure. I'm pretty sure my fridge has a built in circuit with all its advanced electronics that does pretty much the same thing, but for the low price of this unit it seems like cheap extra insurance. I'm a bit electronics savvy and would say the inside of this unit is about as good as I've seen it. I would wish for more reliable components, but that looks ok for the price. When the device is working normally, it will glow green. If the indicator is solid amber, there is a 3-minute delayed restart. Note that the refrigerator does not turn on when you first turn it on. You have to wait until the yellow indicator goes out and the green one lights up. The two red lights are completely useless. They are for under/over voltage and if they ever light up the device will immediately go into reboot mode so the amber light will prevail. Who can see all this when it's all behind the fridge? I have enough green light. If you're a picky and restless coward like me, I'd say go for it. An ounce of prevention, etc.
