I got this for the kitchen, not a bar. I’ve been getting into juicing and smoothies lately and occasionally find rough bits kn my concoctions. It’s probably a case of not running the blender long enough, but I thought I would try running my juices and smoothies through this strainer. Although it means transferring them to another container that the strainer will fit, it’s kind of fun (if I’m in the right mood). You control the fineness of the strain, if that’s the right way to phrase it, by how much you compress the spring. The more you compress it, the finer the straining. Not a necessity, but at least I feel like my smoothies are smoothier. I just give it a light wash by hand, as the manufacturer recommends.Jerry
