The fan runs continuously even when the computer is not connected
The product works well as a docking station except the fan runs continuously whether a laptop is connected or not. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with "last" at all. I'm trying to update the firmware, maybe it will help. If so I'll update the review but for now I'd say look elsewhere. The fan is very loud and annoying. If the firmware doesn't work, I can just open it and disable the fan directly.
