is a high quality device. This requires drilling an additional hole in the door about 3 inches above the existing door handle hole. Some people may not want to drill their door to install this if they ever decide to go back to a regular door knob that has a repair hole. Other styles simply use a standard doorknob opening with no further modifications. This hand lock works well, is heavy and looks well built.
