Doesn't work at all for my application.
A friend and I each have one to communicate with each other. We are 2.6 km apart. At first I wasn't paying attention and bought it thinking that this is for the 2m range too, but it isn't. But even when used on the frequencies tuned to it, neither I nor my friend can receive anything at all while transmitting. This leads me to suspect mine is defective as we have better reception/transmission using the standard antenna that came with my PDA. Return and buy something else.
