Review on πŸͺ’ Ultimate Precision: Utopia Care Professional Barber Straight Edge Razor Safety - 100-Pack Derby Blades Included! by Amanda Johnson

Great for the price and gives a close shave. Especially if you are poor it is awesome.

The photos above show that I shaved the first shave that was used. Well, as a disclaimer, YOU SHOULD KNOW HOW TO USE A SAFETY RAZOR! It's not really for beginners, but it's a good start. Especially for the price it can't be beat. On the left side I had two small cuts on my first try due to scar tissue that tends to snag any blade I've ever used. If I hit the scar wrong, the blade just hits me, no matter what blade it is. I have NO irritation from the razor, a close shave and the control you have is fantastic. I can shave non-stop. I have severe spinal issues that cause my arms and hands to either cramp or become numb or spasm to the point where I can no longer hold a razor. I did NOT have this problem. It is well balanced and feels comfortable in the hand. This provides more left and right hand control. I even trimmed my lips with no problem. I have to say this is now my favorite razor. I bought it primarily because it's compact for travel. It is great. Well what I don't like. The blades are very thin and a bit difficult to manipulate, but I had no problem inserting the razor blades. The fact that it comes with 100 blades is great. I usually shave three times with the same razor. I have used Derby razor blades for many years. Another thing I didn't like is that there can be a slight shift when locking the blade, but it doesn't affect the shave in any way. For me it's more of an obsessive-compulsive disorder. Other than that, there isn't much I don't like about this razor. The photos only show the before and after difference, not a competitive cut, but you can see that the razor shaves well. Straight razors are NOT for the inexperienced. If you buy this for your first straight razor shave, YOU WILL CUT YOUR FACE EVERYTHING TO PIECES. Now if you learn how to shave with a razor at a 30Β° angle, this angle is about 20Β°, you will get a close shave without cutting yourself. The best way to learn how to use a razor is to put some Barbasol on a balloon and shave off the shaving cream without squeezing it out. Once you learn how to shave without popping the balloon you will have a good idea of how to shave without cutting yourself. You should also stretch your skin while shaving to get a closer shave. I usually shave with Williams shaving soap and a Badger shaving brush. I hope this was helpful and I hope you enjoy this razor as much as I do.
