The solar panels exceeded my expectations for their ability to quickly charge working batteries in Arlo cameras. Specifically, the battery levels on my two cameras were 87% and 91%, respectively. When I connected the solar panels to the two cameras, the batteries were fully charged in less than a couple of hours that morning. Since I have experience with replacing batteries when charging dead batteries, I would like to install solar panels for the arlo system from the start to avoid recurring charging problems. As far as installation goes, it's relatively easy. I attached the panels to the gutter using the screws that come with the solar kit. The panels come with long power cords, giving you the flexibility to place the panels in a prominent location. While the fit and finish of the product appears solid and of good quality, I'm not sure if the mounting screws are anodized or zinc plated to withstand the weather over time. So I replaced the supplied screws with galvanized ones.
