Not scary. but not surprising.
I bought them specifically to hold a motorcycle helmet. Luckily it's two packs as I need both to support my helmet. With only one, it slowly slid down my door lol. Two are still working. The hook parts are malleable and can be adjusted to your specific needs. They are connected to the magnet with a screw. I suspect if I move them around a lot the hooks would eventually detach from the magnet. All in all it was a good buy for the dollars spent. I took a risk
