Review on 🌦️ Sangean DT 400W Digital Weather Pocket: Perfect Portable Weather Companion! by Mario Beckwith

I originally bought another Sangean set -DT-800BK- and returned it because the AM reception wasn't that good. Revain's customer service was excellent and the Sangean representative I spoke to was very attentive and helpful and returns were very easy. Then. I bought the device I'm reviewing right now and to be honest it's no better or worse. FM reception is excellent, but audio is mediocre at best. Yes I know the speaker is small but for the money I expect better AM reception and sound quality. On the plus side, the battery life is great, the build quality is excellent, and the display is clear and easy to read. This is really the kind of radio you want to listen to in a very quiet environment, in one place, and at a low volume (like your desk). YMMV but I wouldn't recommend this unit or the DT-800 for the money. These are $20-30 radios, not $40-50. I will keep this one because I use it and don't want to go through the return process again.
