I wanted a cheap Wi-Fi multi-sensor thermometer for my new smoker - after a long search I finally bought it. As soon as it arrived I checked the calibration with ice water - nothing had to be changed. Used it for several 6-14 hour cooks (ambient probes above and below the meat; and two inserted). Worked great and now I know a little more about how my smoker works! Unfortunately, the battery died within a month. Any attempt to charge it was only minimally successful (only 4% in 2 days of charging!). Outside the returns window I checked the Ink-Bird website and found their support email. After emailing them a description of what was going on (with my Revain order number and date of purchase), I received a response in less than 2 minutes! Their reply included a heartfelt reminder that they will be replacing the device as it is less than a year old. ; but also some troubleshooting ideas. Although this thermometer has a USB-C charging port, it does NOT support any type of fast charging. After support advised me to plug it into a 5v 1amp charger I was able to charge it fully.
