1 inch rollers create the best curls in my opinion, although I find chopsticks a bit easier to use. I feel like the clip bothers me as I'm not very experienced at curling my hair. That being said, I think this is a great iron for beginners as it's reasonably priced and does what it's designed to do. I love that there is a range of temperatures to choose from as my hair is very thin and I don't want to damage it by exposing it to very high heat. Since this is a temperature range, not "low" and "high", you can get the ideal temperature for your hair. It heats up quickly, but time will tell how durable this product is.
