Good for reading, bad for starting a fire.

I bought this to start a solar fire. It magnifies well, but compresses sunlight very poorly in a small space. The wallet-sized Fresnel lens outperformed it in the test. The thickness (rather thick) and narrower width make this combination bad for sunburns.
