Removing the glow plug from a 2005 Duramax definitely worked. I badly needed my own faucet as the right one wasn't included, but I knew that. However, the parts that screw into the body of the glow plug are very weak and they stretched and broke on me. I ended up making my own. The center drill broke the first time it was used. Overall he did his job, but he's weak and probably won't do more than one or two without replacing or crafting parts.
