This is very durable and a lot more than just a regular chopping board. Here are my top 5 reasons I bought this board -1. There is also Juice Groove on one side of the board. This is my third cutting board and the first two were just flat boards. I put this as number 1 because I didn't realize how useful it is to have a juice chute, especially when I'm slicing fruit like watermelon or pineapple, where between slicing the fruit and making sure the juice doesn't drip, juggle. my countertop (FYI: I'm still studying in the kitchen).2. Trays allow me to separate vegetables without taking my hands off the board. With 4 different sorters that fit perfectly on the board I can use them for cutting/sorting directly in Tray4. The bowls come with a lid so I can cut the veggies all at once and the next day just take the bowl and put it in the fridge. Made from 100% sustainable raw bamboo and chemical free.
