I don't like it at all

I've been using a Panasonic Lumix TS4 camera since 2012 and the seals are completely worn out so I decided to exchange and this Nikon seemed the most suitable for me. I liked the Panasonic TS4 but I absolutely hate this Nikon. It's slow, the menu layout is terrible and very confusing, and the flash turns off even if you turn it off. The picture quality is okay, but the color reproduction is terrible, there is a lot of variation from shot to shot. It really seems to bring out the orange and red tones, making people's skin look orange. I really haven't seen such bad color control since cheap water cameras were sold in department stores and I definitely expected more from a company like Nikon. I also tried two different UHS 3 memory cards and the video still has 4k glitches causing greyish, blocky frames before dissipating. I was also very surprised at how strong the chromatic aberration is in a small lens. Almost all of my sunlight shots had horrible bluish-purple fringes on the edges of brighter objects. The rear LCD is really difficult to see in direct sunlight, so much so that you can barely see what's in the frame. My old Panasonic was much better, as were my Fuji X-series cameras that I use for landscape photography. I also found the panorama feature very limited as you can't stop it where you want. Basically, you have to pan the camera until you're prompted to stop creating those really long panoramas. My Panasonic lets you press the shutter button a second time to freeze it anywhere, so you can take short or long panoramic shots. Another drawback is the carrying strap that comes with it. This is a full neck strap like full size camera. The instructions also advise you to remove the strap before getting it wet, which is time consuming and makes matters worse. I prefer the wrist strap that most other small cameras use. I will say that the build quality feels very good and I like the feel in the hand, but that's where the positives end for me. I will return it and wait for the new Panasonic TS7 coming in July.
