Got these to replace an old Nikon compact camera that I loved but eventually died. I've been using it for 6 months and I have to say I HATE THIS CAMERA. Nikon has removed most of the user control over picture settings, and the camera does all the thinking for you. Unfortunately, that's not very smart. Somewhat confusing why it wasn't called the Nikon AW140 as it really is the 4th camera in the series (after AW100, AW110, AW120 and AW130). On paper, the W300 isn't much better than the AW130. I've been using a Panasonic Lumix TS4 camera since 2012 and the seals are completely worn out so I decided to exchange and this Nikon seemed the most suitable for me.
