Got these to replace an old Nikon compact camera that I loved but eventually died. I've been using it for 6 months and I have to say I HATE THIS CAMERA. Nikon has removed most of the user control over picture settings, and the camera does all the thinking for you. Unfortunately, that's not very smart. It doesn't expose many frames properly, colors tend to be bad, and it's SO SLOW. Slow menu, slow focus, slow shutter activation. The menu navigation is terrible. I can't find the right setting without spending a few minutes browsing the menus. It offers different menus depending on what "mode" the camera is in, and it's pita to change "modes" to get what you're looking for. They have a terribly stupid menu system where you tilt the camera to move the selection cursor. Well it doesn't work. It doesn't realize that you tilted the camera most of the time, or it changes so slowly that you tilt it again and now it moves beyond what you intended to select. On the plus side, the battery life is excellent. I didn't have any issues with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, but honestly I didn't use them much. I can't say anything about the waterproofness. I never intended to take him underwater anyway. I just wanted it to survive the rain, but I didn't have it in the rain either. It was such rubbish that I don't take it with me anymore. Soon I will be looking for another small camera to replace this one. Too bad I really like all my other Nikon cameras and lenses.
