This pepper mill does the job perfectly, grinding pepper finer than any other I've ever used. I bought these to replace a ratchet sander that broke after just a few months of use. I read reviews that said this one was small but was still surprised when it arrived. It's really not enough. It would be easy to store in a closet, which is not the case with most pepper mills. I thought I would stock it up all the time because I use a lot of pepper. I've found this grinder to be so much more efficient than any I've ever had that I don't waste as much pepper. I probably filled it with less than my large coffee grinder. It is easy to fill and easy to use. I have a small kitchen so I love that I have such a wonderful pepper mill that doesn't take up much space on my countertop and is easy to store away when I don't need anything on the countertop. Very happy with it.
