The description said the bag was canvas and the drawstring was cotton. This is the same material consisting of 70% cotton and 30% linen. The bag is not the same as in the photo. The bag in the photo is stiffer, looks like real canvas and has a different drawstring. In fact, due to the cotton blend, it is much softer and wrinkle-resistant, and also lighter than natural linen. Feels like a light cotton canvas. I've read that cotton is undesirable for a bread bag because it molds more easily. You don't want to store rolls or sliced bread in a cloth bag like in the picture. I wanted a 100% linen bag for the crusty bread, in retrospect I should have seen evidence that this was a misleading product. I would give it 2 stars because it is an acceptable quality bag if you want a natural looking tote bag or similar. , but images that do not match the product are not allowed.
