I have had many Baby Alive dolls for my 8 year old daughter. We were delighted to get this for my 17 month old daughter who really loves dolls as she imitates her older sister. Although she may still be too young for that, my girls have a lot of fun playing together. She mixed food in a blender that mixed the powder well and fed it to the baby, and in the diaper it turned out to be "poop". It was actually just colored urine because it wasn't thick food unless you added that much water to it. If you bottle feed, she will also urinate. Tip: We buy diapers for preemie dolls because it's cheaper than their diapers. You can buy more food bags, but adding a safe dye to the water will change the color of the urine. Sometimes we put washable markers in water to change color so they washable. We don't often eat thicker food because we don't want to worry about food getting stuck in the doll.
