This is SUCH an improvement over the double detachable hinges we had. easy, and for the first time my closet doors are perfectly straight and level. After removing the removable twin hinges, I filled all the holes with wood putty and sanded them flat so it looked like I started with a brand new one. I bought a piece of via ferrata recommended by other reviews and adjusted it to 3mm as advised by other reviewers and they turned out to be PERFECT! Even the pilot holes line up perfectly on the Greg. the space it leaves on the side as others have mentioned, but to be honest it doesn't really bother me, especially when it looks 500x better than before. My main complaint with the manufacturer is that they don't come with instructions. And the measurements they give on the box in terms of diameter are wrong. A standard Kreg concealed hinge clamp is required to install these hinges. Luckily, I followed the advice from previous reviews and got a flawless install. I was so pleased with the initial installation of my master bathroom that I purchased 10 more for the guest bathroom and 50 more to redo the kitchen!
