Neat glasses, not elite

These glasses are good value for money and I received exactly what was described. Some positives: very strong glassware as described, different glasses for different styles of beer, packaging was perfect and they arrived without damage. A few downsides: slight imperfections in the glass - particularly at the base of the stems, a very large capacity that may be too large for a single canned or bottled beer, and not exactly a classic take on the styles they're meant to represent. Brief history: If you like drinking beer in different glasses at home and are not a glassware snob, these glasses will do the trick and are scratch and break resistant. Longer story: They're clearly designed to handle large crowds in restaurants and bars, so they're built like tanks. They don't have the softness of more upscale brands like Spiegelau. I'm glad I had the chance to try them as a sample because now I know I don't want a full set of them (except maybe a pilsner glass). However, I will continue to use them until I find the best examples of some of them at a price I like. Please note that the Craft Pub glass is similar to the Willi Becher glass but larger. An English pub glass is like a pint of nonic. A Belgian beer glass doesn't expand far enough at the top to be considered a real tulip. The wheat beer glass is more voluminous than the traditional wheat beer glass. I'm only posting this for those of you who are traditional in this sort of thing. These are durable goggles that wear well and you get exactly what is described.
