As with anything you buy online, it's a bit of a game whether it fits you or not. It fits almost exactly. waist and wear a long jacket size 44. Based on Joe Rocket's size chart, I'm tall, which is about right. The sleeves could be a bit longer (I wear a 34 inch shirt) and it fits well. The armor fits in all the right places and doesn't float, the waist is tightened, as are the buckles on the sleeves. With the lining, it feels a little bulky. It is a durable jacket with adequate ventilation. Sitting in traffic or at traffic lights over 90 degrees will make you sweat, but after driving it's not bad.
