Will say I have always been a nerd and drones have been something I was interested in time and again. Steep prices kind of pushed me away for years. Was given the opportunity to review this drone, so I jumped on it.Opening the box found a tiny (I was surprised how small) drone and an archaic looking remote. Having played video games for years, I glanced at the manual assuming I knew how to control the thing. I charged the drone up then put it into action. The first minute was full of failure and back and forth, re-setting up the drone.Decided to actually read the manual and figure out the controls. The next several minutes were still grabbing the drone after it crashed into something, but less and less. By the time the battery died I had a decent understanding of how the drone is controlled.Within the short period of time, I must say, I had an extreme amount of fun. Learning a new "skill," using gadgets, and trial and error is probably the reason I see most drone hobbyists getting into the hobby. It's currently charging again and I will probably run it through a couple more runs throughout the day.This thing is tiny, but even though it took a beating, is still performing perfectly. I did not try the camera function though.One con, which is based mainly on drones itself, is the battery life. Charge an hour for a handful of minutes is kind of ridiculous, but it is the price you pay and makes sense when you think about battery storage and all that jazz. Another is the controller. I do not know if this is how all drones operate but it was a bit clunky and a couple instances when I did the movements to shut down the motors, the drone did not receive the signal.Although tiny, I wouldn't recommend for a child to play with, but definitely a teenage willing to learn the controls.All in all, I had a bunch of fun and this drone probably opened up a whole new hobby for me.
