Review on 🧽 Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Kitchen Scrub Sponges, Ideal for Dishes and Kitchen Cleaning, Pack of 9 Scrub Sponges by Samantha Lopez

Looks like a real Scotch Brite to me

They came to me in what turned out to be real Scotch Brite packaging including the logo. All of the sponges turned out to be true heavy duty Scotch Brite cleaning pads that I'm used to. I didn't notice anything odd about her smell. As expected, they were soft (sponge) on one side (yellow) and rough (brush) on the other side (green). Be careful when using the green cleaning end. They are just as durable as the sponge and scrub combo. The rough side is as rough as it gets and is very effective on pans with burnt residue. I actually use this to clean the burnt enamel on my stove top but be careful not to scratch the surface. I use light pressure with soap and water and see very good results. You don't want to use a rough surface on nonstick/coated pans as that surface will be scratched instantly. You also need to be careful with certain countertop surfaces such as plastic laminate (Formica/Wilsonart etc) as scrubbing too hard with the green side will scratch and remove the surface. Even brushing wood, e.g. B. with a chopping block, can distort the texture of the surface and make it appear rougher. Also, as mentioned above, you can scratch the enamel if you rub too hard. Scratches also appear on stainless steel, which is obviously polished. They are great for cleaning shower tiles or tiled floors; even natural stones like granite, marble, slate. I would be wary of acrylic surfaces like Corian as the rough side can leave visible scratches as Corian is sanded to a micro finish. Side. Metal cabinets found in a garage, patio, or outdoor kitchen, for example, should hold up better to cleaning, but can still scratch paint or polished stainless steel surfaces. All in all, these are great scrubbing pads. They are probably overkill for many home applications and may be better suited for certain industrial applications. Be careful when using them on certain surfaces and you'll be fine.
