Perfect! in disposable plates, bowls and cutlery

Ideally I would only buy cane cutlery but these double the price when bought in bulk (over $100 for 1000 carats). In smaller quantities I would only buy sugar cane cutlery! Everyone in the office is surprised when I tell them this isn't ordinary plastic! It's 70% plant starch, 30% plastic + others. Here's a rundown of your choices when it comes to single-use cutlery: Plastic: Durable, nobody reuses it, bad for the environment, not recyclable in most places, and when it does, it uses fuel. Bamboo: $$$$$, very durable, reusable indefinitely, suitable for compost70% Plant Starch: $$, durable, reusable, not ideal for compost Sugarcane: $$$$, less durable, disposable, ideal for compost above are biodegradable . You can compost two mediums, but they will not provide any bionutrients to your compost. (Sugar cane is bionutrient for composting). All of the above work VERY well as disposable cutlery, so don't be afraid to grab ANY of them! The important thing is that you use them instead of solid plastic!
