I've been using this for quite some time. Pros: Very durable, wears little, ATPV arc rating 9.0 cal/sq. cm, conforms to ANSI 107-2010 Class 3 Level 2. : Easily soiled and sticks to it like glue, not easy to clean, collar ring must be soaked to remove, very hot due to the amount of cloth needed to achieve its arc performance. Conclusion: If necessary, still better than a safety vest over flame-retardant outerwear. Assess your risk, only use what you need and avoid the false security of excessive wear and tear that increases heat stress in hot weather.
