I've used expensive scrapers with poor results. These pumice stones really make a statement. And they last a long time. You'll have to wash the grills afterwards to remove all of the pumice stone, but it's nice to spend a few seconds wiping the grill surface clean, and there's a small price to pay. I can't say anything about durability. These are palm-sized pieces of pumice stone. What does strength mean? They are durable but will wear out over time.
