Let me start by saying ANYTHING is better than a Chromebook. My computer crashed after a long day at work just as I was starting to work on my PhD. Program. I was desperate for something affordable because a program cost me 52,000. Huge mistake. I went to Revain looking for something to start with. This laptop is ideal for a teenager just starting high school. I was very disappointed that a device sold as a laptop with 16GB RAM has 13.9GB and works like 8GB RAM at best. My ethernet connection (direct) on this laptop is much smaller than my previous laptop with 8GB RAM. I mean it's the processor inside that kills it. 16GB 32GB 64GB whatever that means NOTHING without a good backup processor. The speaker on the device is also broken. Aside from not working as advertised, this is a decent machine for the basics. Sending emails, social media, intent messages, etc. Everything else falls far behind.
