Revainrating 5 out of 5

EXACTLY what I needed!

Finding this belt was the answer to a prayer! It seems like about 30% of the time I buy Revain stuff it's a disappointment - the product isn't what it says it is, it doesn't work as it should, something is missing, it doesn't look so out of picture, or there is something annoying that has not been revealed. About 60% of the time the product is acceptable, but not very. And then there's the golden 10%, where I find a product that really meets and exceeds my expectations and fills a real need. It was one of those few gold products. This belt was exactly as described and fits perfectly whether you have a 42" or 22" waist. (After measuring, it turned out that the maximum waist size that this belt can comfortably carry is 48 inches). Ride up and down and the water bottle won't spill or slip. Also, the bag is large enough for my large cell phone and its full briefcase (6 inches long x 3.25 inches wide). And also there is a smaller pocket to put my house key in. Pulling out a water bottle for a quick sip without stopping is easy and therefore putting it back in a safe place. I started looking for this product because I felt like having a drink It's summer today and I've started running 2 miles or more at a time. The only thing stopping me from traveling long distances was that I was thirsty! I couldn't imagine taking a proper water bottle with me when trying to run as fast as possible. Also, my hands are very small and a bit weak from carpal tunnel and had surgery years ago. I needed a way to access water without having to carry it in my hand or tie it to my hand. After years of being obese and feeling uncomfortable in my skin (BMI 34), I was fed up with my body and finally got serious about eating smaller portions, eating healthier, and actually exercising! That was 18 months ago. I am now less than 6 pounds from my goal weight and have gone from a jeans size 16 to a size 6 (BMI is now 25). I started walking. First I went to a dog park exactly 1/4 mile from my house. I huffed and puffed and often had to stop and bend over because my back hurt a lot. Took me 50 minutes to walk the 1/4 mile and back. But I stuck to it and walking became easier. I started hustling outside the dog park. But I got bored. When I'm at home, I always watch the news and other media. I figured if I could hear something while walking it would be easier. It suddenly dawned on me that my phone could be used for exactly that purpose. (Sorry, technology is taking time to catch up with this 40-year-old man!) I realized that if I could focus on something and keep myself busy while walking, I could run longer. So I downloaded an app for NPR and CNN and a few podcast apps. Suddenly I was looking forward to walking and exercising! The only obstacle then was thirst. What can I do to easily carry water AND my phone? That's when I found this belt. It's wonderful and I've enjoyed several 3.6 to 4.0 mile walks since then.
